It means we were built remote. We do not have a head office you are expected to commute to. We have a co-working space in Durban for anyone who wants it, but you can work from Cape Town, Joburg, or a beach in Mozambique. We do not care.
Every full-time team member gets equity from day one. It vests over 3 years. When we hit profit targets, everyone with equity gets a share of the bonus pool. It is not a gimmick — it is real money.
